Dropless Cataract Surgery
We are pleased to offer truly innovative technology that provides valuable time savings and convenience for our cataract patients. Dropless Cataract Surgery is an option that allows our surgeons to dispense post-operative medications during your cataract procedure. What does this mean for you? Because all of your post-op drops are administered during your procedure, you won’t have to deal with time-consuming and often expensive and complicated post-operative drop regimens.
This safe and effective option provides you with a hassle-free, simpler recovery and also eliminates the high cost of prescription medications, co-pays, and insurance coverage concerns. We will help you decide if this is a good option for you during your cataract evaluation.
Most insurance covers basic cataract surgery with a standard monofocal lens. Many patients are excited that they now have more options than ever before to enjoy freedom from glasses and contacts with Lifestyle Lenses. While insurance typically does not cover Lifestyle Lenses, over time the cost of this advanced technology may prove to be the most affordable choice when comparing the cost of buying glasses or contacts for the rest of your life. It is important to consider all your options when you make this once in a lifetime decision.
